Together, we’ll take on the highly visible factors of education, housing, and child care that block our women from beginning their journey toward independence. At the same time, we’ll help them take on healing from the hidden damage the cycle exacts. Take on unlearning the life-long lessons of hopelessness and helplessness. Take on restoring destroyed self-esteem. You can make it possible for our women and children to learn to build self-fulfilling and self-sufficient lives.
United Way
Individuals may designate a United Way contribution to the York Street Project by indicating our account code (#014037) or our name and zip code on the pledge form. Your workplace gift will then be forwarded to our office by the United Way.
Corporate Matching Gifts
If your company or your spouse's company has a matching Gift Program, there is no better way to multiply your gift to the York Street Project. Please consult your Human Resources Department to obtain a matching gift form to send in with your gift.

Financial support may be used to help fund our special events including:

and our Summer Enrichment Program.

In-kind contributions of goods or services provide our programs with basic necessities and allow us to focus our limited resources in other critical areas.
